Rain fell throughout Georgie and Calum’s wedding day at Westerham Golf Club, but it certainly didn't dampen their spirits. The club's spacious clubhouse provided plenty of room for the celebrations to continue indoors, giving the day its own atmosphere while the weather did its worst outside. Georgie and Calum remained in great spirits throughout, making the most of their wedding day regardless of the conditions.
Thankfully, the rain eventually eased, giving us the opportunity to head out onto the golf course for the couple's hero shots. After spending much of the day indoors, it was a welcome chance to make use of the course and create some striking portraits of the newlyweds.
Weddings don't always come with perfect weather, but that doesn't mean the photographs have to suffer. As a Kent wedding photographer, I work with whatever the day brings, making the most of the available surroundings and looking for opportunities to create a varied collection of images. For Georgie and Calum, the rain became part of their wedding story, with the eventual break in the weather allowing us to finish with portraits out on the golf course.
